It's hard to get a terminal diagnosis. The hardest thing you ever face. And there are dark days where the mist comes down, the days of cherish are the ones where family, friend or neighbour makes me smile

On July 15th, Megan completed the Race for Life and raise £1198 for the cause.
A day after, family arrived from Calgary, Canada, on July 16th, 2018. They stayed 3 weeks.
Days after the Canadians arrived, after an appointment to discuss her progress, Ma was admitted into hospital.
This is Kath, her sister, visiting for the day.
Canadian family, packing the car for a day trip to Alnwick Castle, mostly to get us out of the house whilst Da stayed with Ma at the hospital.

Over the 5 days Ma was in hospital, a lot of family came to visit. The staff said they’d never seen so many people come and go. We all spent a lot of time in the garden, chatting and playing with the kids.
Paul got into Newcastle from Amsterdam on July 26th, hours after Ma passed away. This is him with Laila; the granddaughter of Mick’s best friend, Ron.
